Health & Safety Support Built Around Your Industry

Practical, qualified health and safety support tailored to how your business actually operates not a generic template applied to every sector.

Sector experience that makes a difference

Different industries face different risks, different regulatory expectations and different day-to-day pressures. A construction site, a cold-store warehouse and a hospitality venue all have distinct hazards, documentation requirements and ways of working. Generic health and safety advice rarely fits any of them well.

Safety Assistance works in a defined set of sectors where the team has hands-on experience. That means the support you receive reflects how your business actually operates the tasks your people carry out, the environments they work in and the compliance requirements that apply to your type of work.

Support combines consultancy advice, audits, risk assessments, RAMS, incident investigation with practical tools including Safety Mate® so organisations can manage safety properly day to day, not just at audit time. Whether you need a competent person appointment, help achieving an accreditation or a platform to replace your spreadsheets and paper forms, the starting point is always your sector and your specific situation.

Sectors we work in

Construction

CDM compliance, site safety, contractor management, RAMS and accreditation support for contractors and principal contractors.

Mechanical & Electrical

Electrical safety, working at height, PUWER compliance, RAMS and CDM contractor support for M&E businesses.

Logistics

Vehicle and pedestrian safety, driver compliance, manual handling, COSHH and warehouse risk management.

Agriculture

Farm and estate safety, machinery risk, lone working, COSHH and competent person support for agricultural employers.

Arboriculture

Chainsaw safety, working at height, lone working, safe systems of work and risk assessments for arboricultural contractors.

Hospitality & Events

Fire risk assessments, event RAMS, temporary structures, crowd safety and compliance support for venues and events.

Consultancy and technology - together

Safety Assistance is not simply a consultancy that hands over a report and moves on, nor a software vendor that leaves you to figure out compliance on your own. It combines qualified expert support with Safety Mate® so clients can act on advice, manage documentation and demonstrate compliance in one place.

This is particularly relevant for businesses currently relying on spreadsheets, Word documents, paper forms or a collection of disconnected systems. Having the consultancy and the tools in one relationship means advice translates into action, and safety activity is recorded and visible rather than scattered across inboxes and shared drives.

Common questions about sector-specific support

Do you only work with large businesses?

No. Safety Assistance works with organisations of all sizes, from small independent contractors through to larger multi-site operations. There is no minimum size requirement. The support is scoped to your actual activities and requirements, so it is proportionate to your business rather than a fixed package.

Can you support us if we work across more than one sector?

Yes. Many clients operate across more than one sector for example, construction and mechanical and electrical, or logistics and events. Support is scoped to your actual activities, so if your work spans multiple areas, the advice and documentation will reflect that rather than being limited to a single category.

Do I need to be near your Liverpool office?

No. Safety Assistance provides support nationwide. The Liverpool office is the base, but consultancy, audits, site visits and ongoing support are delivered across the UK. Remote support is also available where appropriate.

What if my industry is not listed?

The sectors listed are the ones where the team has direct, hands-on experience. If your industry is not shown, get in touch and we can have an honest conversation about whether we are the right fit. We will not take on work where we cannot add genuine value.

What does a discovery call involve?

A discovery call is a free, no-obligation conversation to understand your business, the risks you face and what support you actually need. From there, Safety Assistance can outline what would be involved and provide transparent pricing based on your requirements. There is no pressure and no commitment required.
