Fast RAMS is a mobile-first app from Safety Assistance Limited that helps construction and safety-critical businesses create, manage, sign and share Risk Assessments and Method Statements far faster than using Word documents or paper forms.
It is aimed at small to medium sized contractors who need to produce RAMS regularly often directly from site rather than back at an office. The app is available on iOS and Android, and also works on Mac.
There is a free tier that lets you create one RAMS document with cloud storage and digital signatures. The Unlimited plan is available at £9.99 per month, or £99.99 per year, and gives you unlimited RAMS, PDF export and sharing, company branding on documents, and priority support.
Fast RAMS is a standalone product you do not need to be a Safety Assistance consultancy client to use it. That said, if you need expert input alongside the tool, our team is here to help.
Everything you need to produce and manage RAMS
Fast RAMS is built around a five-stage guided process that takes you from project details through to a signed, shareable document. At each stage the app prompts you for the right information, so nothing gets missed and the finished document looks professional.
The app includes a pre-populated library of hazards and control measures, so you are not starting from a blank page. You score likelihood and severity, describe how the work will be carried out safely, list your personnel, equipment and materials, and then collect digital signatures through an approval workflow.
Fast RAMS also supports CoSHH assessments in the current live version, so you can handle chemical and substance hazards in the same place as your RAMS. Completed documents are stored in the cloud, can be archived, and previous RAMS can be duplicated for similar jobs saving time on repeat work.
AI-assisted drafting is available in Fast RAMS to help you get a first draft down quickly. Any AI-generated content is a starting point only a competent person must review and approve it before the document is used. The app is designed so that most users can produce a complete set of documentation in under ten minutes using the guided forms.
